Until July 31, the Cinémathèque française pays tribute to one of the most fascinating masters of the 7th art: Stanley Kubrick, in an exhibition punctuated by his masterpieces. This is an opportunity to revisit the decor and aesthetics of one of his cult films: "2001, the Space Odyssey". Flashback in 1968, year of the film's release, then back to the future… In the heart of Bercy at the Cinémathèque française, we (re) discover the costumes, photographs or models of films that undeniably marked 20th century cinema. Among them: "Lolita" (1962), "Docteur Folamour" (1964), "Orange Mécanique" (1971), "Shining" (1980)… In "2001, the Space Odyssey" (1968), c is, however, a story from our 21st century that Kubrick stages. A major must, this science fiction film propels us on a space mission and immerses us in the very aesthetic style of the filmmaker .
