Each year the Festival of Lights in the city of Lyon promises a dazzling spectacle. And for the second consecutive year, Récylum will be the conductor of the recycling of low-consumption tubes and lamps from December 8 to 11, 2010. In order to give an environmental dimension to this 11th edition, Lyon has entrusted the lighting of the party to Récylum. The brand will thus create the event in Place Bellecour with a giant Lumibox 10 meters high to collect used bulbs. Other events will help publicize the new gesture of recycling lamps. The Light Plan allows for better lighting while consuming less. Thus party lighting represents only 0.1% of the annual energy consumption of urban lighting in the city. The city thus combines festivity and energy saving. > More info on www.recylum.com and www.fetedeslumieres.lyon.fr
